For over two decades Danny has advised and invested in both private early-stage and mature public companies across the communications, media and technology industries. His experience spans from his tenure at Lehman Brothers to his role as co-founder and Managing Director of DFJ Gotham Ventures. He is focused on investments in financial services, digital media, network infrastructure and mobile technologies.

He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Pivot Solutions (instant messaging for Wall Street) and Magnolia Broadband (RF smart antenna chipsets) and is a board observer with ViVOtech (contactless hardware and software solutions). Danny has also led Gotham's successful investment in XOsoft (disaster recovery software), which was sold to CA in 2006. He was a member of the Board of Massive the in-video game advertising pioneer where he helped steer the company to a successful sale to Microsoft in 2006. Additionally, Danny has served on the boards of NanoOpto (nano-scale optical components; sold to API Nanotronics), SMART System Technologies (contactless payment and CRM platform) and Pantero (data integration middleware), which he helped guide to acquisition by Progress Software.

A frequent speaker at entrepreneurial and technology-related conferences, Danny has lectured at Columbia University's engineering and business schools.

Prior to co-founding DFJ Gotham, Danny was a senior banker with Lehman Brothers in the Equity Capital Markets groups in both New York and London focused on technology and emerging growth companies based in the US and Israel.

Outside of the office, Danny is a member of the board of the Venture Industry Association of New York. He serves as a member of the investment committee for the endowment fund of the American Friends of The Hebrew University and the High Tech Evaluation Committee of the Yissum Fund, a seed fund affiliated with the technology transfer unit of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem - Yissum. Danny is also the Assistant Treasurer of the National Board of Governors of AFHU and a member of the Israel Venture Association.

Danny is a graduate of Columbia University where he received his bachelor's degree in Economics. He and his family reside in Westchester, New York. Outside of his entrepreneurial, VC and family-related activities, he can frequently be found at roughly 10pm somewhere in Westchester playing ice hockey.
